Pricing

It is difficult to set a price without any indication of how much work is needed. For that reason, I will ask you to send me a representitive sample (500-750 words) from your manuscriptof your work. Based on that sample, and in discussion with you, I will determine which level of service you require, what it includes and a quote for my services. Most clients prefer a fixed fee, but I can also quote an hourly rate. For students I can quote a rate quote per 1000 words based on a representitive sample.

As a guide, my rates are set in line with the suggested minimum rates of the Chartered Institute of Editors and Proofreaders. These range from £26-£35 per hour, depending on the level of assistance required.
